Wine, Culture & More

Waldenburg & Hohenlohe

Directly in Waldenburg as well as in the whole region you will find an outstanding gastronomic offer with fresh, regional and international cuisine. Here you can also find excellent drops from the wine cellars of Hohenlohe and Wuerttemberg. Hohenlohe stands for pure enjoyment!

With the many meadows and forests, the valleys with vineyards and the many lakes, Hohenlohe also has a lot to offer in terms of landscape. Ideal for cycling or hiking tours – this is pure nature!

In addition, Hohenloher Land places great emphasis on art & culture. You will find here many castles, palaces, churches and chapels that open their doors for a visit or a concert experience of a very special kind. The Jagsthausen Castle Festival and various art museums, above all the Würth museums, are particularly recommended.

In the middle of nature

Neumühlsee

Not far from Waldenburg, about 4 km to the south, in the protected landscape area Landschaftsteile im Raum Waldenburg and in the nature park Schwäbisch-Fränkischer Wald, lies the Neumühlsee. The bathing lake, which is especially popular in summer, also serves as flood protection for the Biberstal valley.

In the immediate vicinity there are charming hiking trails for nature lovers.

Charming old town

Swabian Hall

An almost completely preserved historic townscape and a multitude of cultural monuments characterize the historic salt boiling town of Schwäbisch Hall. The extremely dense cultural offerings, such as the Kunsthalle Würth, the Johanniterkirche, the Hällisch-Fränkisches Museum, the open-air plays and much more, also know how to inspire.

The centuries-old history can be experienced with every step as you stroll through the narrow streets.
